Wirral Community NHS Trust will be supporting the World Health Organisation's annual SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands awareness campaign to highlight the importance of hand hygiene in healthcare.
Our Infection Prevention and Control team will be at St Catherine's Health Centre in Birkenhead on Tuesday 5 May from 10.00am – 12:30pm sharing lots of advice and tips on good hand hygiene. Open to the public and other health professionals you can:

Keeping hands clean prevents illness at home, at school, and at work. Hand hygiene practices are key prevention measures in healthcare settings, day care facilities, schools and public institutions, and for the safety of food. Good hand hygiene can prevent infections being passed from person to person including the spread of things like colds and the flu".
