Norovirus is circulating in the local community!

If you have symptoms of Norovirus (diarrhoea and/or vomiting) you are urged not to attend walk-in centre, your GP or the hospital, but to remain at home until you have been clear of symptoms for 48 hours. Please call NHS 111 if you need assistance.

Proud to be a Quitter

Proud to be a Quitter

Wednesday 11 March is National No Smoking Day!

The theme this year for the British Heart Foundation's annual campaign is 'Proud to be a Quitter'. In life we're told never to give up, to keep going - but when it comes to smoking, being a 'Quitter' is a good thing. The campaign uses inspirational stories of ex-smokers to highlight the life-changing benefits of quitting.

Have you quit smoking recently? Are you 'Proud to be a Quitter'? If you have recently quit smoking we would like to hear from you. Send us your story about why you are 'Proud to be a Quitter' so we can share it with others to encourage them quit. To share your story get in touch with our communications team - email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 0151 514 2888.

If you are a smoker and would like support to quit drop into one of our many stop smoking clinics across Wirral.

Find your nearest clinic through our Community Programme or call 0151 630 8383.
