Local NHS Staff recognised for service excellence

Wirral Community NHS Trust is recognising the achievements of individuals and teams from all areas of the trust who have delivered excellence in the services they provide to both patients and to each other.

Over 75 nominations were received for the internal staff awards across nine categories. Each entry telling its own unique story about the services we provide from our specialist nurses and therapists right through to our support services such as our call centre and admin teams.

Judging panels made up of both trust staff and members have deliberated the entries and the shortlisted nominations have now been revealed. The winners will be announced at an event on Thursday 27 February.

Frances Street, Chairman said, "These awards give us opportunity to recognise and thank individuals and teams across our organisation for their hard work and dedication to providing exceptional services and care to patients within the NHS. Well done to everyone who was nominated and good luck to our shortlist".

Hill Dickinson sponsors of the 'Clinical team of the year' category said, "We are delighted to support this event for a second year recognising the excellent work of the trust and the people who work hard to deliver quality care".

The event is also kindly sponsored by LT Print Group Ltd and Lorne Stewart Ltd.
