Norovirus is circulating in the local community!

If you have symptoms of Norovirus (diarrhoea and/or vomiting) you are urged not to attend walk-in centre, your GP or the hospital, but to remain at home until you have been clear of symptoms for 48 hours. Please call NHS 111 if you need assistance.

Livewell makes its mark on Facebook!

Making the first step to a healthier lifestyle has been made even easier for Wirral residents after the successful Livewell Programme launched its official Facebook page!

The Livewell Programme, part of Wirral Community NHS Trust, supports local people to live longer and healthier lives.

Working across Wirral, its teams help people to get more active, eat healthier, quit smoking, lose weight, and relax and unwind.

And now their information, advice and friendly support is easier than ever to access following their induction into the world of social media.

The Facebook page, which launched on Friday 5 June, has a range of interesting information, including details of all the team's FREE courses and activities to help local people get fitter, healthier and make real, positive lifestyle changes.

And users of Facebook have already started to reap the rewards, as new people have come along to classes thanks to the information they read on the Livewell page!
