Archbishop Sentamu Believes in Birkenhead


Wirral Community NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to welcome Archbishop Sentamu to St Catherine’s Health Centre on Friday 8 September as part of a weekend of mission called ‘Believe in Birkenhead’.


The Archbishop of York’s visit to the area is from Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 September, and includes visits to schools, Cammell Laird, the Hive and family fun activities. Local churches are organising a wide variety of events as part of this mission weekend which are open to all.


Also attending his visit to St Catherine’s Health Centre will be Mrs Margaret Sentamu, The Bishop of Birkenhead, Keith Sinclair and The Bishop of Burnley, Philip North.


Trust staff, patients and public are welcome to hear a few words from Archbishop Sentamu in the Atrium at St Catherine’s Health Centre at approx. 2.30pm. He will then go on a tour of the flagship health centre and meet staff and patients from a number of services including Heart Support Service, Podiatry and Adult Social Care.
