Annual General Meeting

Annual General Meeting well attended!

The Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Dave Mitchell joined over 160 local people at the second Annual General Meeting of Wirral Community NHS Trust at the De Vere Village Hotel Bromborough.

Guests enjoyed the opportunity to visit service exhibitions and speak to Trust staff. It was an chance to share the diversity of the work of the Trust, learn more about what we do, how we measure our performance and how we engage with patients and public.

Following presentations from Frances Street, Chairman, Simon Gilby, Chief Executive and Steve Wilson, Director of Finance on the Annual Report 2012/13, there was an open question and answer session where the Trust board answered questions put forward by Trust members and the public.

The event was well received by those attending. Dave Hammond, Membership Manager said "feedback from our members has been very positive with many commenting on how they have enjoyed the opportunity to meet our staff. It was also great to sign up new members at the AGM taking us to over 4,300".

If you were unable to make the AGM but want to find out what was discussed you can download the power point presentations from the day.

An online film of the AGM speeches and the responses to our Q&A is available.
