Free five week fun and interactive programme

Our Livewell team has teamed up with Rampworks to help local children, young people (aged 11-16) and their families to lose weight, get more active and eat healthier.

 

The FREE fun and interactive programme encourages children and young people to get more active and try activities that they may have never considered before. It includes:

 

  • coaching and development
  • learning how to get more active by:
  • skateboarding
  • riding a scooter / BMX biking

 

We will also be running sessions for parents and carers around:

 

  • choosing healthier food and drink options
  • understanding food labels
  • positive wellbeing
  • physical activity

 

First session: Wednesday 30 July 2014
Weekly sessions: July 30 - August 27
Sessions start: 9.30am - 10.30am (physical activity sessions for children and young people / 11.00am - 11.30am - sessions for parents/carers)
Venue: Bebington High Sports College (Sports Hall), Higher Bebington Road, CH63 2PS
Meeting point: Main school reception
Children must be accompanied by an adult from 9.30am – 11.30am.
