Book your place today – Chlamydia Workshops

Public Health England (PHE) have been visiting sites throughout the UK to run Chlamydia Workshops. They are aimed at health professionals who see 15-24 year-olds that are seen as the most high risk group according to the National Screening Programme.

In Wirral we continue to find 1 in 10 young people tested has Chlamydia, which given we are such a small area is pretty high. Testing figures are reducing and we would value ideas and feedback as to how we plan for the year ahead.

If you're a health professional, regularly in contact with young people aged 15-24, some of which are vulnerable,  we would like to invite you to this FREE event Wednesday 12 July, 12.30pm - 4.30pm, at the Lauries Centre, Exmouth Room, 142 Claughton Road, Birkenhead, CH41 6EY.

To book please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

PHE will facilitate this workshop, sharing local data and looking at ways we can improve testing uptake and management. Other teams have found this really useful and it has re-energised testing in clinical, community and outreach based settings.
